Field Condition and Local Procedures – Important Information for Visiting Pilots

Siljansnäs Airfield welcomes a growing number of visiting pilots during the summer season – something we are truly happy about. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly ask all guests to review and adhere to our local traffic procedures, which are published at:

We would also like to draw your attention to the current condition of the airfield:

🚧 Grass Runway (Strip):
The grass runway is available for taxi, take-off, and landing, but please take note of the following:

• Runway and threshold markings have been temporarily removed due to maintenance.

• The surface is uneven and bumpy – use caution.

• Extreme caution is advised when taxiing across the edge between the grass and asphalt surfaces.

🅿️ Parking Areas:
The parking areas near the flying club also have uneven surfaces. Please plan your taxi and parking accordingly.
